__________________________________________________ [Jun 12,2008 10:01am - the_taste_of_cigarettes ""] hopefully this version will have as many fucking bugs as the current I want it to crash more often than it already does |
_______________________________________ [Jun 12,2008 10:03am - the_reverend ""] I want it to crash and dump instead of freezing like it does now. |
________________________________________________________ [Jun 12,2008 10:06am - thuringwethil at the library ""] yeah this is pretty exciting for us Mac users! Safari kinda blows |
_______________________________________ [Jun 12,2008 10:08am - the_reverend ""] wow... I went to a page in 3RC3 that I knew didn't exist and the whole browse didn't freeze for 20 minutes. |
__________________________________________________ [Jun 12,2008 10:13am - the_taste_of_cigarettes ""] My favorite is when it disables all the toolbar features, loads the page as though I had a TEXT browser, and then only allows keyboard commands. That shit is HOTT. |
_______________________________________ [Jun 12,2008 10:16am - the_reverend ""] holy cow! take open 3RC3 and dnd some text from another application into it. that's awesome. |
___________________________________ [Jun 12,2008 10:19am - brian_dc ""] I was running 3RC2 at home and it was running great despite not having some add-ons I enjoy like Ad-Block and NoScript...then it just randomly decided it was going to take up about 98-100% of my CPU so I waxed that bitch. I am, however, thinking that the first release will be an improvement. |
________________________________ [Jun 12,2008 10:35am - aril ""] netscape ftw. |
__________________________________ [Jun 12,2008 12:10pm - Martins ""] 3RC3 is pretty sweet. I'd been using the beta for a while and there were definitely some bugs but it was cool to see how they improved it over time. I think beta 2 had the best layout/look but this one isn't bad. I'm just glad to get my gmail manager back. |
__________________________________________ [Jun 12,2008 12:59pm - Conservationist ""] http://www.opera.com/ Opera 9.5 out now, better than FireOpeth or Internet AnalOpethExplorer |
__________________________________ [Jun 12,2008 1:01pm - brian_dc ""] I had Opera...wasn't amused |
_________________________________ [Jun 12,2008 1:10pm - Martins ""] FireOpeth? Internet AnalOpethExplorer? Those are stretches. It's much easier to just call Opera Opeth because it sucks a shitload. |
_________________________________ [Jun 12,2008 1:10pm - Martins ""] I like Opeth. |
______________________________________ [Jun 12,2008 1:21pm - the_reverend ""] opera sucked dick when I used it. |
_________________________________ [Jun 12,2008 1:37pm - Martins ""] Ya it was pretty bad. |
_______________________________ [Jun 12,2008 1:40pm - aril ""] I have the sudden urge to start using Linux - Ubuntu again. |
______________________________________ [Jun 12,2008 1:47pm - the_reverend ""] I got on debian (ubuntu is built on debian) and I like debian more than ubuntu now |
_________________________________ [Jun 12,2008 1:55pm - Martins ""] Once I start trusting the disk utility on my Mac again, I plan on getting Ubuntu on here. I've seen some siiiick shit done with Ubuntu. I don't know anything about Debian. |
_________________________________________ [Jun 12,2008 2:40pm - Conservationist ""] the_reverend said:I got on debian (ubuntu is built on debian) and I like debian more than ubuntu now Debian is a nice distro. You should try Opera again. Martins: If you like Opeth, that pain in your rectum is NOT hemorrhoids... there's probably a bronzed, ripped gay man attached. |
_________________________________ [Jun 12,2008 3:00pm - Martins ""] WOAH! I never noticed him before! |
________________________________ [Jun 12,2008 5:15pm - xmikex ""] For the most part I'm happy with Firefox. I'm also happy with the lengths Safari has gone through to rip off Firefox. |
_______________________________ [Jun 12,2008 5:25pm - aril ""] I used to have a Dual-Boot system with Windows and Ubuntu. Something messed up with the partitions or something and my hardrive fried. Now I'm back on XP, but really miss Linux. |
