Ive seen his standup and his show, I spent most of the time staring blankly at the screen with my head tilted slightly to one side like a dog watching their owner jerk off, if I wanted to hear the whitest member of a minority talk about his observations about his everyday life I'd buy a tiger woods golf instruction dvd... mencia's early stuff was cool... when I was younger, but he spends more time telling people who aren't offended to stop being offended after hearing non-funny and unoffensive jokes, he isnt edgy by comedy central standards (which of course means that by underground standards he's practically mr rogers), so I don't really get it, half of his comedy is based on audience reaction that he rarely gets, I sometimes wonder if he has a "gasp" sign that lights up like the "applause" signs that late night talk shows have, and someone REALLY needs to pass along the memo that MIDGETS ARENT FUNNY... GIVE IT THE FUCK UP |
