ATTN: Bands[views:1748][posts:23]_________________________________ [Feb 6,2004 1:54pm - succubus ""] hey guys, i just wanted to say as the reverend's girlfriend, cheerleader and rttp girl... (and no he did not ask me to do this) i just want to say that a lot of bands ask him to go to shows and he goes to so many...he drives countless miles to get to shows and works hard on the site and works so fast in posting photos etc. i know that local bands often do not get paid to play shows and unless they are losing money... i really think more bands need to put him on the guest list at shows.. i cannot remember at the moment...but he spent a boat load on gas and show tickets last year... of course it's not always possible....but if you have a guest list and you want him to go to a show..i think it's common courtesy to do so... he has been helping out the scene for soo long... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ also, let me say thanks to all the bands that guest list us =) special thanks to *Joe not common* for always offering to do it!!! finally, i don't mean to come across as a bitch or anything in this message, i just felt i had to say it. ~~~ |

I think the only show i was not able to pay at was the MFF and one of my middle east shows. I don't even take cuts from shows, so if bands don't get paid on one of my shows they know it's not cuz I horded all the money. Thanks for the props though, everyone should put Aaron and Korreena on their guestlists. What they shouldn't do is put people on the guestlist that are willing to pay, unless its like Meghann the video girl or someone doing something equally as important. |
