**I also like how my supporters claim my youthful drug use and criminal
behavior somehow qualifies me for the Presidency after 8 years of claiming
Bush's youthful drinking disqualifies him. Your hypocrisy is a beacon of
hope shining over a sea of political posing.** **
**I would also like to thank the Kennedy's for coming out in support of me.
There's a lot of glamour behind the Kennedy name, even though JFK started
the Vietnam War, his brother Robert illegally wiretapped Martin Luther King,
Jr. and Teddy killed a female employee with whom he was having an extra
marital affair and who was pregnant with his child. And I'm not going
anywhere near the cousins, both literally and figuratively. And I'd like to
thank Oprah Winfrey for her support. Her love of meaningless empty
platitudes will be the force that propels me to the White House.** **

First off...lesson on the war...why did we go into Iraq...let's review. We were told that Iraq had weapons of mass destrcution. This was not confirmed just by CIA but also by Scotland Yard, KGB and several other intelligence agencies not of US origin. The UN repeatedly made tough talk and threats to let the inspectors in or else and repeatedly were not allowed, censored and thrown out. iraq was given a deadline or force would be used. The US and UK were the only ones to back up the UN threat (other joined in after the initial strike). If you think it's for other reasons, you're falling into the propagnda that has little to nothing to do with this reason. And when letters from political leaders actually in Iraq praise us for helping them and thank us for being there along with 90-95% of our forces who feel we should be there, who are you to say we shouldn't be? Do you know something we don't? Or do you just believe the liberal new slant showing you only the negative on the news and in magazines so that the liberal political agenda of getting Barack in the White House is met? I think it's important to realize that we're a dying civilization, and that liberalism is a big factor in that.
I have little faith in American conservatism, because it doesn't seem to conserve anything, but they get some things right.
I am looking forward to, as de Toqueville, Huntington and Chittum predicted, America breaking up into separate states.
I will probably live among conservative, family-oriented folk for the following reasons:
* LESS FUCKING NEUROTIC
* More pragmatic
* Better neighbors and business partners
* Better guarantees of my intellectual freedom
When most of your interests are ancient history and technology, the GREATEST censors you're going to face are from the left. In my experience, liberalism is the secular counterpart to dogmatic Christianity... it's the mad Ego run out of control.

I don't understand the definition of liberalism anymore...I thought it was being concerned with the environment, education, realistic things like sex education that isn't grounded in religion, and equal rights of humans...even when they have "the gay" or GASP, want control over their uterus. But according to everyone on this website, it means you're a terrible person set out to destroy the world. Is the term "progressive" still all of the above or is that a dirty word now, too?
I hope this country breaks up into pieces, than I no longer have to suffer the South. Or the midwest. Or NH.

The environmental movement was started by Nazis because "blood and soil" is a better path than guilt.
Liberalism means you put individual preferences over reality. It's a meaningless term that also handily groups in all the dramatic, neurotic, self-obsessed, confused city people who demand more rights so they can make their lives even more miserable.
