Looking for 6 bands to play from 630-11pm ., possibly all ages or possibly do 18+ , New rule at rockos is that i cant have liquor upstairs when im doing an all ages show, only when i do 18+.
Date would be Aug 2nd which is a Saturday. Need bands from NH/MA/ME/ maybe even CT if u can bring some people. No presales for this show.

your show wont hurt NEDF, it would be the proposed bands that i was somewhat against being on the show as they are on my fest. i know my reasoning is somewhat silly considering that said bands draws in new england isnt exactly huge, but im playing fest nazi. feel free to keep the show on aug 2nd.

Seriously. That's the reason the scene is dying. No one fucking supports the other bands. They only go to the shows to see the bands they know and/or like and then leave. How do you know you're not gonna like the other bands, and even then, why would you even say that? That's just a straight up way of saying you don't like the band because you've never heard them and are probably just jealous because they're actually doing something your band isn't.

definitely come from beginning to end. it seems like the first half of the line up are new bands and I know how hard it is to get people to stick around if you're new.
as for the second half, they're all well established bands(aside from our garbage) and ending with one of the most promising new bands out of the area in YEARS.
we have to compete with hype bands playing other shows within an hour drive that same night, so hopefully the turnout will be mostly people set on hearing good music and keeping an open mind.

This Oceans Weight: this band has promise, the vocalists lows were amazing!
Taxicab Dismemberment: humerous death metal from maine. Vocals and drums were tight as fuck.
