Johnny Damon... who's Johnny Damon? Oh you mean that guy that jumped ship from the Sox because he was 100% certain he could win another championship with the Yankees? Damon's averages the last two seasons with the Yankees: 2006 - .285 2007 - .270 He hasn't even had over 600 at-bats in either of those seasons. Johnny Damon is a bust for the Yankees. I don't see anything concrete about the Rays looking to sign Barry Bonds other than their GM has acknowledged talking about the possibility of signing him. So who knows. |

That could allow them to go after Sheets and/or Sabathia in the offseason. I think maybe with another team he'll do well, but here, he wasn't going to turn it around IMO. I really like Moss, but I'm not upset he's leaving.
