Filthy black shit. WOE was another favorite. Mighty riffs. So good. Prosanctus Inferi killed despite a complete lack of vocals. Really excellent, twisted riffing. NIL was kinda boring and I was pretty unimpressed with Legions of Astaroth - no clue why they got such high billing. Honestly didn't watch Full Blown AIDS. Preferred to hang out with zine messiah Bill C of Mental Funeral/Children Of Caine and talk bout classy horror flicks with quality rape scenes and his gorgeous tape-trade acquisitions. Engorge were pretty crushing but I was fairly beat by then. Profanatica was pretty awesome once they warmed up (trainwrecked the first song)... And then they were over. Sad to report that the Virgin Mary's arsehole was left intact at the night's end. And of course, what's a trip to Jersey without a good fight? At least the show didn't get shut down. And what a shame few arrived in time to witness the three dancing naked girls who gyrated to the pious rhythm and performed profane crucifix insertios and micturated upon the Holy Bible and stolen, consecrated Eucharist wafers which Al proceeded to eat!?!? Profanatica had a full stage show planned. A 45 minute set, but were forced to play for only 20 minutes due to the shitty PA system (or lack thereof) and the bitchass bartenders (scared of a little bloodshed) who wanted everyone out by 2am. It wasnt Profanatica's fault. We rtan over time by an hour and a half due to the sound issues which in turn cut the show short. The soundcheck went great for Profanatica but then the lazy fucken soundguy (or lack thereof) set the levels and left the premises shortly after Father Befouled's soundcheck. We were pretty much fucked right after Ipsissimus played. My apologies to all who attended, WOE, N.i.L, FATHER BEFOULED, FULL BLOWN AIDS, LEGIONS OF ASTAROTH,PROSANCTUS INFERI, WITCH TOMB, PROFANATICA, ENGORGE...all of which had to sing out of a Peavy practice amp due the the soundguys inability to care about the bands performing. All bullshit aside, it was actually a decent gig but the HORNA show will not be held there due to the clubs inability to promise and or produce a suitable PA system. HORNA will be held at DINGBATZ, 620 Van Houten Ave, Clifton, NJ 07013 on Nov.16th. THIS WILL BE AN EARLY SHOW THOUGH! Its a Sunday and they (the town not the club) cant allow live music after 8pm without a permit. They are working on getting the permit but we are going to play it safe and say doors will be at 2pm.
