Conqueror is a good album, but I have to be in the proper mood to appreciate it. Without question, I could listen to heart ache and s/t all day. The sun down/sun rise ep was excellent, and the track Farewell off of his split with Eluvium is the personification of quality pop music. I still don't know how I feel about Lifeline, but his split with Battle of Mice was impressive. I don't know how many people have heard it, but his tracks contain an Aphex Twin / Autechre influence; reconciling the IDM and jesu sound perfectly. |

| _______________________________ [Mar 23,2009 10:35am - Yeti ""] i'm listening to Lifeline right now, i like it a lot more than i did. my brother made me a cd that has Silver and Lifeline on it, they flow together really well. i don't know if i care for the female vocals, they aren't bad, i think just a little out of place. if they had been sparse it would work so much better. |
