Titled Where Ironcroses Grow, it is the eighth full-length album from the long-running and respected death metal band. Recorded at Sami Studios in Stockholm, Where Ironcrosses Grow ends near four years of silence for the band. Featuring founding members drummer Fred Estby and guitarist David Blomquist with vocalist Matti Karki, guitarist Martin Persson, and bassist Richard Cabeza, the album was produced by Estby (whom has additional producing/engineering credits for Konkhra, early At the Gates, Grand Magnus, Gehennah, Katatonia, Entombed, Hellacopters). Formed in 1988, Dismember's roots are firmly planted in the original death metal archives. The band are revered worldwide for their no-holds-barred, pure Scandinavian death march - a sound that has long become the staple of quality for the genre.
