The Relapse Contamination Festival will take place on January 18th and 19th, 2003 at the Trocadero Theatre in the label's hometown of Philadelphia. The Relapse Contamination Festival will be host to upwards of fifteen Relapse Records / Release Entertainment recording artists over the course of the weekend, with Relapse notables NEUROSIS (with MASTODON as main support) headlining on January 18th and the DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN (with HIGH ON FIRE as main support) heading up the January 19th lineup. Other Relapse / Release artists scheduled to perform over the course of the event include BURNT BY THE SUN, ALABAMA THUNDERPUSSY, PIG DESTROYER, DYSRHYTHMIA and THE END, with additional artists to be announced as they are confirmed. The festival will also serve as the East Coast screening of NEUROSIS' long-awaited A Sun That Never Sets DVD as well as the record release show for Contaminated 5.0; a low-price, double-CD label sampler containing material from all the performing artists and dozens more. |
