It needs new power tubes, new pre-amp tubes, probably some tube sockets, and a mess of minor maintenance, etc. My major problem is this: we're starting a major recording on the 26th of Feb and it's extremely unlikely that the repairs/servicing would be done on my head before then. Can anyone lend me a quality tube head for 5-6 days, Feb 24 or 25 through 29? I can trade you mine for that time period if you need something for practice. it works alright, one of the tubes is crackling a lot and isn't in a condition to record with but I've still be using it for practice anyway and it's doing fine as far as that goes. araemo@comcast.net AIM: MikeOMearaSucks or reply here if you can help a brotha out... |
