Dillinger Escape Plan @ Middle East this past December I think? That band has the absolute best energy and disposition on stage. Best part was the bassist pushing around a bouncer 3x the size of him while still playing, and the singer telling everyone to get on stage and stagedive all at once so security couldn't do shit. GWAR every time I've seen them, for obvious reasons. The 1st time was the absolute best though, since it was like a dream come true to finally get soaked in miscellaneous colored fluids. At The Gates, mainly because they're legendary as fuck and never thought I'd ever get to see them live ever. Napalm Death w/ Macabre @ the Palladium a few years ago. I had waited so long to see them, and they're the band that I think is responsible for me getting into "extreme" music if you want to call it that. I remember Barney's mic cutting out but he didn't give a shit and just yelled at the top of his lungs for a song or two. Oddly enough, I could still somewhat hear him. Watchmaker. Probably the loudest and most frightening band I've ever seen live. Municipal Waste, anywhere except the Palladium. They easily have and cause the most fun out of any band, ever. Eternal Suffering. ES was the first local death metal band I ever got into, and seeing them almost every weekend was fucking awesome, no matter what lineup they had. The Red Chord, around the time they changed their name from Ictus. Every time I've seen TRC it's a blast, but those oooold shows at the Revere YMCA and Cafe Mio were fucking awesome. Guy's vocals were way scarier than they ever have been on record. There are many more, but those are the ones that stick out in my mind right now.
