______________________________________ [Sep 30,2008 7:01pm - the_reverend ""] debaser: they played a quick set. It was ok. They seemed rushed so I would say that they were better the last time. The singer had the best line "if you are apathetic or you don't care". Hm... The singer from energy came on with them to sing a cover, but only one of the mics was working. bear trap: jumped on stage right when debaser ended.. Their set was a hurricane. Mostly members of debaser in the crowd and the singer tossing off cloths and going apeshit. They blew in and were done in under 10 minutes. |

To be honest, that's the reason I came to this show. Their set featured 20 minutes of the crowd standing in the back of the room and then 2 minutesof moshing at the end. Some of the vocals were of key, but it was pretty good. Lots of pictures of crazy poses. |
______________________________________ [Sep 30,2008 8:25pm - the_reverend ""] a loss for words: I am so gullible. I made a smart assed comment to matty about how he should be on the stage. He told me he quit the bandd and for a micro-second I believed him. I remember not too long ago when I was too cool to likke a band like this. I was an idiot. Very well done poppunk with enough of an edge to get people moving while they sing along. If they ever found their way on to my ipod, I would be singing along too. They raised the temperature in this church too. It's getting rather uncomfortable in here. Before they played their last song (i think it was a movie life cover), they thanked both dan future breed and I. |

_____________________________________ [Oct 1,2008 3:19pm - the_reverend ""] carrier, the: damn it, one of the band members heard me gush about the band. *blushes* this band is hands down one of my favorite bands to see live. Right up there with hope con and COA. Never do thee cease to have atleast 30 kids fighting for the mic. I'm surprised the crowd didn't rip members of the stage. And it's not like other bands who have 1-2 songs were the kids go crazy, but every singl energy: their set was good. I only knew the last song cause all the other songs were ones that are on the new CD. When they started, there were more people on stage than in the crowd. They tried to play the whole CD, but I think they ran out of time. |
