I want to, I heard it was kind of similar to the point at the end of Constantine's Swordno pun intended) about evangelism and other religions destructive effects on world society and government

^^Not only were his expressions priceless, but his points are almost unarguable! I wanna hug Bill Maher! He's got all the same problems with religion that I've had since i was a kid, and I'm sure most of the people on here have had. It's so sad that our country is populated by such idiots.

holy fucking shit, "Jose Luis de Jesus Miranda" says he is the second coming of Christ. Not that he is the reincarnated Jesus, but that what the bible really spoke of was HIS coming as a descendant of Jesus... this guy apparently has >100,000 followers?!

A lot of people I know hated this because Bill is such a smug fucking prick, but I think that was my favorite part.

Seems that he mostly focuses on the general concept of morality related to religion within society, as well as present-day beliefs. He likes putting people on the spot, then when they get weak and defenseless, questions what they are saying.
He comes off as a smug prick, but at least he's being realistic to these people.

I wish he went deeper into the origin of the Old and New Testaments and how they are misinterpreted poetic astrological allegories. Haha, I like the ring of that. Misinterpreted poetic astrological allegories.

bill maher always comes off as a smug prick...but he asks the right questions and at least has some jounalistic integrity.

smug prick or not, he asks the things that any intelligent person would about religion. The things that make no sense.... the guy who runs the creationism museum says that people and dinosaurs HAD to have co-existed.. because if you accept that god didn't make all the animals and people at the same time, then why would you accept the rest of it? FOR FUCKS' SAKE!

Sigh, I haven't seen this whole thing then. He talks to the creationism museum guy??

yep, it's hilarious. Jim, you really should see it. The only reason people say "He's a prick, and he cuts people off, and blah blah blah" is because he cuts off LUNATICS who are babbling about nonsense... and because he's offending the "moral fiber" that our country is built on... so the fanatics say, but he quotes the founding fathers as saying some very anti-religion things. Things that point plainly to the fact that when this country was founded it was obvious that mixing church and state was a real fucking bad idea.
