Rob's playing abilities and personality are a perfect fit for us and he is a killer dude, killer guitar player and a true metal brother. We are going to be working on teaching him the rest of the songs and I am really looking forward to having him record on the album. It's going to crush. Oh, and for any and all that are wondering, Whoremastery is not done, in fact Rob came down last night and we recorded a BRAND NEW Whoremastery song, and it fucking shreds. Goat if you are asking about Descent playing live the answer is yes. I hope sooner than later but we'll see. If you are referring to Whoremastery I can't speak for Rob, but Brandon and I said that if he needs us for studio or live we'll help in any way possible. Finishing the full length is top priority right now. I have been writing this album for almost 3 years now. When Brandon joined last Nov. we made a conscious decision to finish the album before we started looking for the rest of the band. I had a vision of what I wanted for this album and luckily Brandon shared that. I will tell you though Rob has brought a couple things to some of the songs that makes me very happy the album hasn't "wrapped" yet. Also we have someone else doing some "top secret" stuff on this album. If he wants he'll let you all know! That said, after this is done I look forward to writing with Rob and Brandon for the next one. Oh and yea early Crue Ist Krieg! |
