The madness is that they want to supposedely lend this money back to us with interest.... the money that our taxes are going to pay for
does anyone know if this is in writing yet?
you mean the whole "bailout" proposal? I am sure you can get it. The "lending to us with interest" thing will not be. Be here's how it works. The MAIN reason it's so important to help these companies, is because these are the companies that give small business loans to other companies. Loans that pay payroll, loans that cover rent, supplies, pretty much all the overhead small businesses face. So without the bailout, companies all over the place will just not be able to pay employees, won't have rent, won't be able to buy the supplies they need to run their business. Not because they aren't doing well, but because in todays day and age when businesses start they take for granted that if they do well, and they can prove they are doing well, they WILL be able to get small short term loans to handle all these expenses. Now that the companies that handle all those small loans were SOO irresponsible, our tax money is going to help them, otherwise businesses all accross america would fail. And these big companies that we are helping.... WILL MAKE PROFIT ON ALL THESE LOANS. as if it's all a great big deal that they negotiated with an overseas client. All the familys of these big companies HAVE to be rejoicing about the big "deal" they signed. Bullshit.
