I have an appreciation for other genres of music, if done well. But when it comes right down to it, when I load the changer in my truck, make the mp3 list, it's all metal all the time. I can say the mellow-est things I listen too are Type O and Tenacious D and I only listen to The D when I am in the mood for a laugh. |

But, since I listen to music pretty much 95% of the day, eventually I started to branch out and explore other types of music. Lately I've been branching out to genres I never thought I'd like in my entire life. Shit I was making fun of maybe a month ago is starting to appeal to me now, haha. I also find that I get a lot of inspiration from other styles of music when I write metal. |
