IMO, I think it debunks the conspiracy theories about Republicans rigging the election, and reinforces the reality of the situation that both Gore, and Kerry were weak candidates that ran poor campaigns. Obama is a likable well spoken guy without the zombie-ish tendencies of Gore and Kerry. Last night during the election coverage CNN pointed out a number of times that Obama strayed significantly from traditional democrat campaign strategies. I don't know exactly what that means, but the results are what they are. Do you think this victory will finally put the conspiracy theories to rest? |
