On a CD, it's transformed into 0s and 1s and then transformed back. We actually went over that in one of my classes everyday and that reduces the quality a lot. I'm sure most of you knew that already. So Vinyl > CDs in terms of quality. The opposite of that for convenience. |

For me, owning actual copies of my favorite band's recordings is tantamount to collecting pieces of art. Artwork and lyrics (if included) help to greatly enhance the overall experience of an album.
