It's set against a very dismal backdrop but that adds to the overall texture of the movie. The actress playing Eli was great. For a vampire movie it was in a way touching. I haven't read the book but I hear the character development goes a whole lot deeper especially with Eli. I am sure they'll fuck the remake up. |

A couple of the writer's other books are in the process of getting translated, so keep an eye out for those. |
