These writers are just getting drunk and coming up with weird plot twists, then trying to tie the whole thing together. It's lame. Why would a group of people, traveling in space for three years, celebrate reaching earth before checking it out? And then when they go to the surface, why would there be dead plants from a 2,000 year old attack? After that, everyone gets all emo and we're supposed to feel for them, but it's like: you just saw most of your species get destroyed, what did you expect? That and the constant references to bad 1960s music make it very, very lame. This turd of a program can take it in the ass. |

So when I heard it was going to be going again, I started hunting down the video, and caught the new one last night. I'm still kind of bummed. It's turning into that omelette-style storytelling that all bad sci-fi becomes. I still have hope though that they'll turn it around. |
