Current mood: rockin Below is a list of bands for each day of MDF 2009. There are several different scenarios on the table as far as stage setup goes, so we won't be announcing exact set times until sometime in March. Set times will be planned so you don't have to pick and choose what band you want to see because two are playing at one time. Individual day tickets will go on sale on Monday, January 19th. You can expect doors to open around 3:30 pm on Friday and 12:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday. These are only estimates, but not off by more than 30 minutes or so. They’ve also announced that there will be a Thursday, May 21st “pre-show” which will feature GHOUL, LETHAL AGGRESSION, and a few more bands that will be announced in the coming weeks. The pre-show will also be taking place at Sonar, but tickets will be sold separately (expected to be $10 or less). We stayed there last year and probably had about 15 people in the room. It's about 3 or 4 blocks from the venue up a hill thats a pain in the ass to walk up when drunk. It's not super cheap, i think it was something like 500 bucks last year which is not too bad split a couple different ways. The place is actually really nice though and we had a full kitchen and this sweet sitting area in our room. |
