We went into the studio to record 6 songs in a weekend and got everything done but the vocals. The night before recording vocals I had definitely blown my voice out screaming my head off at the At The Gates show. After doing 5 or 6 sound checks at 4:00 AM, there was no way to get decent vocals down on record, but I refused to leave without having vocals recorded in some way shape, or form. Land On A Cock was the culmination of several inside jokes and improvisation based on the REAL lyrics for the song...which is why it may look like I'm reading those retarded lyrics off of my computer, haha.
