Since the release of MISS LAVA's self-titled debut EP in blood red vinyl, this Portugese band is working on their first album, which will be mixed and mastered by the famous Swedish producer Jens Bogren. The recordings are at full speed and are again being supervised by the promising Portuguese producer Ricardo Espinha (MISS LAVA ep, Black Sunrise, Icon and the Back Roses...). The drum parts are already finished and were recorded at "Estúdios Vale de Lobos" (Rui Veloso's Studio) during December 2008. Meanwhile, the rest of the members have iniciated their recording process which will happen until the end of March 2009. In early April is time to travel to the small city of Örebro, Sweden to "Fascination Street Studios" and meet Jens Bogren (Opeth, Katatonia, Paradise Lost, Heavenwood...) to mix and master MISS LAVA's not yet titled first full-length recording. The album will feature about 10 original songs.
