Black Market Activities news - signs ed gein, DwD/POW[views:17704][posts:0]_____________________________________ [Mar 9,2004 2:52am - the_reverend ""] Ed Gein signs with Black Market Activities We are extremely proud to announce the official addition of the Syracuse, NY power-trio, Ed Gein to the Black Market Activities roster. Lambgoat beat us to it, but the deal was finally solidified within the last few days after extended negotiations over the last six months. As you may have heard, the band had a catastrophic incident recently where their van, trailer and thousands of dollars in merch, equipment, $2500 in cash & personal belongings were stolen from a Walmart parking lot. To bring everyone up to speed, the van, trailer and several pieces of equipment were recovered. However, the damages sustained to the vehicle have rendered it unusable and the unrecovered belongings still total in the tens of thousands. We are in the process of organizing a benefit for the band where folks can buy a packet with pins, stickers & a shirt commemorating the van fiasco to help raise money. All proceeds will go directly to the band and this packet should be available at the Mass Metal & Hardcore Festival if not prior. Dead Water Drowning/ Premonitions of War News Vocalist Nate Johnson of Dead Water Drowning will be appearing with Ohio powerhouse Premonitions of War for several upcoming shows. Among those will be appearances live on the air of rock radio station 107.3 WAAF & they will also be recording a set for 88.9 WERS to be aired on the Nasty Habits radio program.
