I just see this show as a jab at the ridiculousness of what I like to think of as VHS culture of the 80's and 90's. Picture every corny video you ever had to watch for school, church, learning how to use Microsoft Works, children's videos, public television, teen pandering video with saved by the bell graphics that even 15 years ago you rolled your eyes at when you were expected to think it was cool and interesting. Now that take, and throw it in a blender with the Necronomicon. That's Tim & Eric to me. |
