I have to be more strict and always put them in the crates at night. the younger dog goes and sleeps in his create anyhow. I don't need to close him in. it's the new (older) dog that needs the crate at night. |

I keep mine in outdoor kennels -- I built lean-to roofs over a frame w/Trex decking and put doghouses inside. I have power running out to the kennels with heated mats inside the houses and heated waterbowls -- they can stay comfortable on even the coldest days. You probably don't have the room to put in kennels where you live? |
