| _________________________________________ [Mar 13,2009 12:41pm - josh_hates_you ""] the fuel filter is usually an inline filter somewhere near the carb/throttle body or underneath in the fuel line behind the front or rear passenger tire. just follow the fuel line from the tank back up into the engine you will see where it unscrews to replace the filter. fuel filters basicly resemble tampons and cost about 2 bucks. my first car was an 84 monte carlo and i pretty much replaced everything in the entire car. |

Yea it's pretty much as plug-and-play as you can get. Not a perticularly crazy repair. it can be a pain in the ass to get the old one off, but if you run into that obstacle, i reccomend a little wynn's number 5 spray. should loosen it right up. I don't suppose I need to say anything as obvious as dont heat the damn thing to loosen it. |
