who would you say is the most skilled NHL player right now? Ovie/Malkin/Crosby? I kind of think Crosby is a tad overrated. Ovie has the speed and skill, I think he might take the cake. It's amazing they're all in their early 20s.
I've been a Crosby doubter, but this year even more than last year's playoffs has sold me on him. He can't match Ovechkin in terms of natural ability (although he's definitely one of the best athletes in the league), but he has far more hockey intelligence and improves the play of everyone around him. I think what stuck with me most from last night's game was Crosby's second goal; Ovechkin had his pocket picked by Crosby, fell to his knees and in the replay you can see he's still on his knees facing away from the play as Crosby flies into the Caps zone.
