Psytoxia sounded better than I've ever heard them, Splitter is just plain nasty (and very nice dudes as well) and Dysentery was heavy as bananas. Really heavy bananas. Getting Dave's wig stuck in my tuning keys/pegs fucking SUCKED (and was definitely not planned, Jimbo, haha). I was able to get it untangled eventually but there are still a good handful of tiny hairs stuck in it. :/ I do believe I'm going to start wearing old lady dresses far more often. Spazz meets Lack Of Interest with some more modern influences here and there. I dug it a super lot. Psytoxia - These guys are the grind Superchrist for me. Not that they sound like Superchrist, but they're the other band that I will get psyched and get a show for whenever they ask because it's the best and coolest dudes doing the best and coolest music. Once again I was robbed of Woody Allen's Mitzvah Mosh, though. Splitter - New favorite band. Sweden is better at music than us. Composted - It's been too long. I liked actually watching them from the crowd and grooving to all the tunes that I know so well. July is gonna be a blast. Dysentery - Was really killer, especially impressive with everything Will had to go through and apparently throwing up not long before their set. Good shit. |
