Most people who have this problem would be protected under the "whoops we fucked up" warranty. When you go to the "repair" section of that website, just make sure to put in the Red Ring of Light as a problem and you'll probably have it all set for free. |

If it's all four lights in the ring lit up, you're pretty much fucked and have to send it out. There are combinations of three lights lighting up that are possibly fixable without sending it away.
