The actual Lords of Chaos didn't even have anything to do with black metal by any stretch of imagination. I think that they had a little trouble staying focused. |

It mostly deals with Norway, and politics the author agrees with. It could have brought up bands from the US, Finland, Sweden, Canada, Italy, Brazil, Greece, Australia, etc that have just as much history/importance as Norway. Too much focus on the sensationalism, but I guess that was the idea. |

American Hardcore is a good read as well, published by Feral House. |
