ANOMIA is scheduled to release their upcoming album, "ESM" July 10th (for shows and mail order, July 28th for digital and retail stores), and will be embarking on several U.S. tours throughout 2009 in support of the effort (imminent dates are listed below). For those who are not yet familiar with ANOMIA, the sextuplet's sound is heavily progressive with experimental undertones. The band combines face-melting guitar sweeps, synths/ambient sounds, ball-stomping bass and drums, toped off with a wide range of monstrous vocals. ANOMIA's brand of face-crushing metal will surely appeal to fans of BTBAM, Job For a Cowboy, Psyopus, White Chapel, Carnifex, and Veil of Maya. Regarding their new partnership with Hold True Recordings, ANOMIA has released the following statement: "We are excited to announce that we have signed with Hold True Recordings to release our new album, "ESM". We have a tour planned for July/August that takes us down the east coast to promote this new cd. With the help of HTR releasing this for us we plan on being on the road more often now to push the album and band as much as possible. We also have a new line of merch coming out for you as well. We have a few new ideas for shirts and we will also be re-upping some orders of old ones.
