Composted and The Blackness Monster part ways[views:13881][posts:50]_____________________________________________ [Jul 8,2009 12:00am - MarkFuckingRichards ""] It is unfortunate to announce that Eliot Bayless, AKA The Blackness Monster, is no longer a part of Composted, but it was a necessary move. He was just too intimate with all of our mothers and it really made us feel inadequate, so we kicked his ass to the curb. In all seriousness, Eliot has decided to step down from his duties as guitarist for Composted, also resigning from his position as the Ambassador of Funk. At this point in Eliot's musical career, he feels his focus should be on recording, mixing and producing, as well as professional session work, which none of us can blame him for. He has true talent across the board musically and being in a death metal band doesn't necessarily allow him to express himself the way he wants and needs to progress and remain happy with his music. We wish Eliot nothing but the best and the split is nothing but amicable. We'll still be working with him when the time to record our next release approaches. It is unknown at this time whether or not we'll be seeking out another guitarist to fill his spot. Eliot's last show with the band will be this Friday, July 10th at O'Brien's Pub in Allston with Macerated (VA), Embryonic Cryptopathia and Rampant Decay. |
