We also had 99.7 the score but that failed because EEI is so strong. I want this station to do well, trust me, but I don't it can hold a candle to the juggernaut EEI. It's one of, if not THE, highest rated sports stations around. But, as always competition is never a bad thing. |

BCN had stern for a while if I can remember and had opie and anthony after they got fired from AAF and got their syndicated show. EEI was always a great station for sox talk. |

It has a leg up from the start by being an FM station (wider reach and better reception) plus this new station will broadcast all Patriots and Bruins games. The talent could do alright. Toucher and Rich don't plan on changing much, which is fine because they are great as is and Dennis and Callahan have pretty much morphed into a political talk show anyways. The Big O show drives me crazy a lot. I swear if they got rid of the main hosts and kept their secondary guys (Smerlis, DeOssie, Marloni, ect) the show would rule and have less douchebags yelling dumb shit over each other. |
