To me, LDOH, Dead Infection, Hemdale, Commit Suicide (kind of), General Surgery and the bands Strep Cunt listed are deathgrind. Everything else is really just death metal. It's hard deciphering what genre a band is these days anyway since influences come from far and wide and everyone has a different perception of what a specific genre entails. It really doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things, in my opinion, since the genre classification isn't what makes a band enjoyable. Either way, listen to all the bands in this thread since they rule regardless. |
