I think Converge gets the credit for that. In the mid 90's Merrimack Valley hardcore scene they were the band everyone wanted to be like including cave in. Jay the original singer just screamed really high pitch cause he was like 15 or 16 when they started. Then his balls dropped, his voice got deeper and he was out of the band. |
