The music industry is trying to regain profit from suing kids and it's bullshit. Most of the people I know who DL music also buy discs they love, buy t-shirts, buy overpriced concert tickets and DO support bands. 4.5 million? Are you fucking kidding me? They're going to demolish this kid's life for the equivalent of getting a mix tape from a friend. I could see suing for the amount of what you've taken with some legal fees, but anything more than that is abuse of the law. |
