However, I think Megadeth 'returned to form' several albums ago, and no one was really paying attention. There is really no deviation on this new record from what Dave started writing after he kicked out Ellefson and recorded 'The System Has Failed'. Granted, there was room for improvement/filler, but it's pretty obvious he was trying to get back to his thrash roots even then. |
