| __________________________________________________ [Aug 27,2009 11:47am - the_taste_of_cigarettes ""] Overruns are usually because one or two stages of the process are very involved and it's better to run a few extra pieces in case something goes wrong along the way so that, in that instance, they have more copies to work with and can junk the shitty ones. It's like if you baked 30 cookies knowing that maybe a half dozen might not come out right and you know you needed at least 24 really good ones for some occassion. Overruns are pretty much industry standard for most multi-stage processes of just about anything, and I wouldn't sweat it. I'd rather a place use that technique than say HEY WE ONLY DID 485 PIECES CAUSE THE MACHINE JAMMED (which could also happen, but is far less likely if they do an overrun). |

They just had an extra 10% on top of the extra 10% because I ordered half of the CDs in cases and half without. Kind of a glitch in the system. |
