I have their previous top of the line model, the HD650. Also great, but not on the same level. I don't have enough knowledge about record players though. I run my headphones through a very analog sounding DAC and a headphone tube amp. Analog elitists that claim digital is too brittle and lacks warmth would probably change their mind if they tried a setup like this. Actually, probably not, because they wouldn't admit it. |
