The Illusion Of Safety has its' moments but it's almost FOURTY MINUTES of the same exact feel. Although there are a few standout tracks, it's far too long for what it is. The Artist In The Ambulance has its' moments too, but I feel like they made a huge leap in song writing with Vheissu. They lost most of the punk and post-hardcore sound and became far more diverse while still doing things cohesively. |

I'm exaggerating when I say I loved everything but I really stopped liking them as much. It just got weaker and more contrived. Nothing will ever be as good as So Strange I Remember You. Especially with Tepei (that's his name right?) playing keyboard all the time now and trying to show that off. They just got weaker overall. I will probably pick this new one up anyway and give it a chance. BTW, Identity Crisis is awesome. T & C, Under Par, Ultra Blue, Phoenix Ignition. |
