They stole all my shit and moved off. All in all, they walked away with around $9,000 worth of my shit feeling it was fair over the $500 in rent. Also, they didn't pay THEIR rent, thus leaving me with no gear and a $1000 tab. Luckily, they left behind my vintage Les Paul, which the guy at the space felt he was entitled to hand on his wall FOR SALE. Meanwhile, I walked in a week later and wrote a check on the spot for the full $1000. I'm not comparing my situation to yours. Not at all. What I am saying is that stealing someone's shit is NOT COOL. People get attached to gear, it goes beyond money. |
