Word is that the Jets have traded away Chansi Stuckey, linebacker Jason Trusnik, a 3rd and a 5th for the 2008 leader in dropped passes in the NFL. Stuckey wasn't a big name, but he was explosive, had decent hands and a great ability to create yards after the catch. I think they fucked themselves here especially considering the draft power they're giving up. I'd call the move Steinbrenner-esque. |

You've got to figure: A. considering the rampant amount of tampering that goes on and the few disciplinary measures that are done about it there isn't a huge chance that the Jets will get nailed. B. What's the point in trying to prove you weren't in the market for a big name receiver by going out and getting a big name receiver? C. Mortgaging your offense and your draft on Braylon Edwards shows you're dumb enough to do anything... including tamper. |
