Josh_hates_you said:
did anyone listen to the new skinless cd?? it not the best metal cd but the drums sound killer and there is not a trigger on them. i am anti trigger-- led zeplin had some of the best drum sounds ever and there where no triggers hell they only used 3 mics on drums : room size again is a matter of taste hell if i wanted too i could deaden all the heads and get a super tight sound and add as much reverb as i like giving it that big room feel. there are pro studios that have little tiny dead rooms for drums as well as huge cathedral rooms its all a matter of engineering, taste and style you are going for. i hardly use the 3630 now that i have a presonus acp 88 and im getting a fmr audio RNC soon hey spaldino thanks for the support and for the record i will be doing a full legth for murder in the first sometime this month which i will post to this site to shut all assholes up about room sizes and equipment. bottom line is i have heard a total of 1 mp3 from this site that sounds real good that includes your mediocre recording
I hate to tell you wrong but John does use triggers on the Bass Drums and the cd came out sounding killer. If you don't like triggers that's cool, but you shouldn't knock them when alot,I mean alot of people sware by them. Plus they help to clean up your style tremendously, making the person a better, tighter player.
