The transitions between old guy fiddle samples and metal songs on that one record ("Les Hivers De Notre Epoque" I think?) are kind of funny. Have you heard Sombres Forets? Their first record ("Quintessence" ironically) reminds me of Forteresse, but a little more polished. Quebec has some great black metal bands. |
