______________________________________ [Dec 21,2009 5:00pm - the_reverend ""] ok, the connector is awesome. You can back up and do media servers so easily with WHS. The problem is that I can't get iSCSI or mounted network drives to show up in the disk manager. That means I can't get it to back up directly to my QNAP NAS. All I can do is plug external USB drives into the darn thing and have my back ups go to the external drive. That sucks cause I didn't want to have even more computers in my house running. Looks like I'm going to have to. On a good note, a little NAS built on WHS for carina is going to be the perfect thing for her. |

______________________________________ [Jan 18,2010 2:28pm - the_reverend ""] ok, I got my whole home network (windows pcs) backing up nightly to my WHS machine. It rules. Carina's machine had a hard drive die. I decided that it would be easier just to remove and reinstall everything. I am working on that. |
