Their situation is pretty dire and in need of immediate help. lets face it America's homeless problem isn't gonna go away that quick.....But, the reality is lots of Americans are neglected. You could be next! I just think the Media and the "Influential" should try and sensationalize "Americas problems" before those of every other country. The general census is more than half of homeless Americans suffer from Mental Health problems, which in turn (yes) can lead to substance abuse. Substance and alcohol abuse is one of the great escapes for the homeless. I think real problem is America doesn't know how handle the mentally ill. They use to just put them in mental health wards and let 'em rot....As long as there weren't on the streets muckin' up the scenery, right? Now they just dump them prisons. |
