From an engineering standpoint, I understand that the drums in most DM are meant to sound dry. You can definitely hear everything (a good thing). But, IMO I feel it lacks atmosphere. I do not like the drum sound. The snare is a bit up front in the mix. At times, it is all I can focus on. A little reverb on a few key pieces could have helped the track mesh together better. Everything else sounds pretty good though. |

Everything else sounds pretty good though. thoughts on the drum sound is definitely appreciated, its definitely still a learning process for me, knowing what i need to catch for next time, what would you say are the exact spots that you would have altered? overall i thought it sounded great but there is always room for improvement |
