I smoke weed, but I am not really a stoner or anything. On average, I probably smoke 4 or 5 joints a month. I really don't see why on Earth Tom has so much against the fact that there are people who smoke things, but I am not going to drag myself into that argument, as I have no interest in it really. I respect his opinion just as much as I respect anyone's, and I don't feel that I am being unfair in saying that he should respect mine and anyone elses, dispite him completely disagreeing with it. It all comes down to personal preference, not who has more talent. Christina Aguilera, Eminem, maybe 50 Cent, they all have talent, but I don't like their music at all, so I don't listen to them. However, unless you smoke close to an ounce a day, spread out over the whole day (the equvalent of a ciggarette habit), it's not even as close of a risk as carbon monoxide from cars, or even getting killed in a car accident for that matter. Talking about the health risks of smoking pot is moronic. I take more risk for less benefits every time I get in my car and drive somewhere. 4) Dave Matthews is far superior to the White Stripes and Slipknot. Granted the last few albums suck, but Remember Two Things, Under the Table, and Crash were great albums. I find it impossible that a single person here who actually likes folk or melodic rock would say Dave Matthews Band isn't an incredible group. 5) I forget five, I'm going to go smoke another bowl. |

If you're going to keep arguing the cancer bullshit, one joint contains about 2% of the carcinogens contained in the leading brand's filterless ciggarettes. Also, the average ciggarette habit is 1.5 packs a day. The avarage pot habit (I'm making this one up, as there's not many statistical researches on pot smokers) is probably 2 joints a week. That's 105 ciggarettes to 2 joints, or a 5,145% difference in carcinogens. Get real, whining about pot being unhealty. Well of course, except the potato chips and devil dogs. |
